He was the first one to have introduced the 1 Megapixel Sony Digital Camera - Mavica MVC FD5 with a 3.5 floppy disk with 1.44 MB storage space. He then graduated to Panasonic Digicam and took his work to greater heights with the help of Seetharam Narayanan a senior scientist with Adobe Systems. His body of work has grown with the passage of time. His clientele includes top-notch names from the bigwigs of Bollywood to the world of the Fashion Industry and Sports. He has worked with all major brands like Lucknow Doordarshan, Parag Dairy, Gyan Doodh, Sahara India, CSIR, IITR, CBMR, Ganna Sansthan, Red Hill School, La Martinere School, Mankind Pharma, Patanjali, AIFT, Bhasin Brothers, Lucknow Tourism, RDSO, Indian Railways, Sigma Softwares, Banbury Cross, St. Francis College, Cathedral Senior Secondary School, High Court, Shalimar, Airtel, Idea, Toys & Joys, Ambalika Institute, The Bala Ji Construction, Marg Software to name a few. He has all the necessary skills required to be a great photo artist. Passion. He worked with Aajtak, Times of India, Hindustan Times, Dainik Jagran, and An eye for detail. Creativity and a fertile imagination. Patience and flexibility. Great skills with people. He teaches photography at Lucknow University, Jahagirabad University, and Amity University as a guest lecturer, He has done video documentaries for Krishi Bhawan, Parivahan Nigam, Ganna Kisan, and SGPGI. His vision is to put the name of his beloved city, Lucknow, fondly known as the city of Nawabs, on the world map of world photography. Which he's passionately working upon.

Amit Saheta’s style is unique and he has been in the field since 1999, so far has introduced many different styles of photography and has a goal to create photos and videos of International standards that bring out your best features and personality along with your persona. Amit Saheta started his career in 1990 under the expert guidance of his erstwhile father, Mr. Raj Saheta. Branching out on his own in 1996 he did model shoots, portfolios, and other commercial endeavors with a negative camera and a computer that was ZX Spectrum.

Amit believes a picture is like a canvas, you paint emotions on it. While looking at a picture, one should get a sense of the feeling that he had at that very moment.
